A walk around the former RAF Hednesford Site, highlighting key features and landmarks. This walk was commissioned by Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Unit to support their work to make Cannock Chase Dementia Friendly. During the WW2, RAF Hednesford was the No 6 School of Technical Training Royal Air Force. This is where Fleet Air Arm mechanics recieved their training. In 1950 it was reopened as No 11 School of Recruit Training, where many people received training as part of their National Service.
