Flat gentle slopes
A short walk around Marquis Drive from the Visitors Centre, that has a number of benches on route. This has been created to support people living with dementia and their carer's to be active outdoors, part of the AONB's (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) Dementia Statergy.

Route Points

Start at the Marquis Drive Visitors Centre
Take the path past the toilet block.
Continue along this path.
Follow the path around the bend.
The path curves round to the left, follow the path round.
Walk straight along the path.
Follow the path around to the right.
There are plenty of benches to sit, have a rest and admire the surroundings.
Continue straight down the path, when you reach path going to the left, take this path.
Walk straight up the path.
Look out for the RAF Hednesford Memorial, Marquis Drive was the site of RAF Hednesford.
At the end of this path, turn left.
Continue up this path. This was Kit Bag Hill, where troops would march from the station to the camp.
Continue through the gates.
Turn left, back towards the visitors centre.
As you turn left you will need to go through the gates.
Continue along this path.
Follow the path round back towards the visitors centre.
Back at the starting point, enjoy a refreshment from the cafe at the visitors centre.
