Join the Social Forestry sessions in Hednesford Park. We will be taking part in a wide range of woodland craft activities with other likeminded people. You will be building relationships and learning new skills in a calm and pleasant, natural woodland environment. You will be making resources for Hednesford Park, the community as well as yourself.
We will be learning about how to manage a woodland through practical activities such as coppicing, tree planting and removing invasive species. You will learn how a healthy woodland will support a rich biodiversity and help protect the local wildlife. We will be covering the local geology and ecology. We will develop an understanding of how we can work in harmony with our own environment.
